Over the past year, we’ve received a number of questions on how people can invest in our company. Until recently, securities laws prevented anyone other than accredited investors (very wealthy people) to invest in startups.
In May 2016, this changed when the SEC finalized the rules around “regulation crowdfunding” which enables unaccredited investors, for the first time ever, to be able to invest in startups.
We have been working with a company called Wefunder to put together a regulation crowdfunding campaign. Unlike Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaigns, which are ways for people to back specific products or projects, regulation crowdfunding enables backers to obtain equity in the company. Put another way, our Wefunder campaign enables you to own a share of our company. We have completed a number of SEC filings, CPA-reviewed financial statements, and legal paperwork to ensure that investors are informed before making an investment.
If you’re interested in learning more, please take a look at our Wefunder page with this link: www.wefunder.com/magicinstruments. We’re excited to share this opportunity with you and to have you own a part of our company! The minimum amount you can invest is $100, so just about anyone can participate. Our campaign launched recently and we are excited to have almost hit our Tier 1 goal of $50,000. Please back us and send us over the top!
Thanks and regards,
CEO, Magic Instruments
